Absentee Voting
 


Absentee voting will begin in the Election Office on April 7, 2008. This is the first day to cast an absentee ballot in the Election Office and the last day to register to vote is April 7, 2008.

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. In addition the Election Office will also be open on the two Saturdays before Election Day to allow for absentee voting. The hours for those two Saturdays are 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

There are three ways to vote an absentee ballot:

1. You can vote by mail – the deadline to request an application to vote by mail is April 28, 2008.
2. You can vote absentee in the Election Office beginning April 7, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. The last day to vote in the Election Office is May 5, 2008 at 12:00 NOON.
3. You can vote by travel board. One Democrat and one Republican will come to your home with a ballot for you to vote. The deadline for travel board applications is May 5, 2008 at noon.
