Responsibilities of Treasurer’s Office:

  1. Bill and collect property taxes.
  2. Invest the County’s money
  3. Collect inheritance and gross income tax.
  4. Mobile home transfer of title and/or moving permits.
  5. Post and balance all County funds and bank accounts.

General Information:

  • Taxes are due in 2 installments each year, May 10th and November 10th, (unless these dates fall on a holiday or the rare case of a delayed deadline).

  • Mailed payments must have a POSTAL postmark of 5-10 and or 11-10.

  • A 10% penalty will be assessed on any payment made after due date.

  • The Treasurer’s office does accepts only Discover Card, with a fee, in the office.

  • If paying by mail, you must include a self addressed stamped envelope to receive a paid receipt back.

Methods of Payments:

  1. Pay in person at office

  2. Drop box-located at south exit of Judicial Center

  3. Mail

  4. Credit card-BY PHONE ONLY!!!- Official Payments Corp adds a convenience fee to your credit card when using this service. We accept American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard. Dial 1-888-2PAY-TAX (1-888-272-9829), jurisdiction code 2407. You will need your parcel number located on your tax bill when you call.

  5. Pay at Warrick County Banks: Elberfeld State, Lynnville National, Fifth/Third, Old National and Peoples Bank. (You must have your entire bill and banks cannot accept partial payments.)
