A. The Warrick County Drunk Driving & Drug Court
Program was started in 2005 by Judge Meier and is one of approximately
30 plus Drug Courts in Indiana today. It is primarily a program
for felony drug and OVWI offenders and is certified by the Indiana

B. The Court Substance Abuse Program (CSAP) traces its
history back to the early 1970's when Indiana had one of the first Court
Alcohol and Drug Programs in the country. Warrick County was one
of the first counties to become part of the State's Court Alcohol and
Drug Program and has been operating since approximately 1973.
After taking office, Judge Meier revised and expanded the program.
