Theresa McNeely (tmcneely@warrickcounty.gov) is a Stenotype Court Reporter, with an Associates Degree in Court Reporting from AIC in Davenport, Iowa, in November 1990.  Theresa was a Court Reporter for Judge Hendrickson in the Warrick Circuit Court from November 1990 through the end of December 2000.  Theresa became the Official Court Reporter for Judge Meier in the Warrick Superior Court No. 1 in January 2001.  Theresa’s duties include recording and transcribing all types of court proceedings and processing of all case types, but currently focusing on criminal matters (felonies), civil matters (domestic relations & adoptions), the Warrick County Drunk Driving/Drug Court Program, and Judge Meier’s Special Judge cases.

Ellen Sprinkle (esprinkle@warrickcounty.gov) is the Bailiff/Office Administrator/Legal Research Assistant.  She also performs all court reporter functions and is a Stenotype Court Reporter.  Ellen has been with the Warrick Superior Court No. 1 since September 2002.  She attended Southeastern Illinois College and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where she received her machine shorthand training.  Her areas of responsibility include implementing jury selection and maintaining jury records, court reporting for majority of civil cases (not including small claims and collections) and various administrative and secretarial functions for the Court and its auxiliary offices and programs.   Ellen was a freelance court reporter in the Southwestern Indiana area for 9 years prior to coming to Superior Court No. 1.

Jenny Ash
(jash@warrickcounty.gov) is a Court Reporter.  She has been with the Warrick Superior Court No. 1 since February 2007.  She graduated in July 1996 from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a specialization in Criminal Justice.  Her duties include payroll, claims, budget, processing daily mail, assisting the bailiff with jury trials as well as assisting the Judge in the day-to-day operation of the Court.  Jenny has over 13 years experience working in the judicial system.
