The Small Claims Division processes all small claims (claims under $6,000.00),
county ordinance violations, and civil collection cases. You may contact this
Division at 812-897-6148 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. to:
1. Check the status of a
small claims, ordinance violation or civil collections matter or
2. Confirm/Assign hearing dates within small
claims.

Katherine Rohrscheib (
smallclaims@warrickcounty.gov) is the Warrick
County Superior Court 1 Small Claims Court Reporter. She has been with the
Warrick Superior Court 1 Small Claims Division since September 2007.
She obtained her B.S. in Advertising and
Communication Studies.
Katherine’s
duties include transcribing, managing the court calendar, answering phones,
processing paperwork, assisting the judge, maintaining files, scanning and
imaging documents, performing mail runs, and assisting the public with general small claims
questions and concerns.
